With Award season finally here we kick off 2016 with the Palm Springs Film Festival 2016, and the event held host to the most recognizable faces within film and television. The ceremony gives indication to who the big winners will be at the most prestigious award ceremony's throughout the year. Big winners on the night included: 'Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Alicia Vikander' and many many more. The red carpet continues to roll out this weekend with the Golden Globes and award ceremony's such as the "Bafta's, Peoples Choice Awards & the SAG awards".
