Balmain Fall Winter 2016/2017

Balmain took their homeland Paris by storm with 'Olivier Rousteing' bringing his epic fall winter collection to the runway. The collection featured an array of exaggerated silhouettes depicting a late 19th century twist with heavy fringing, corset ribbed skirts, netting, baroque swirls and heavy embroidery. Staying true to what we expect from Balmain, 'Olivier' featured a number of fabrics including suede's. chiffons, feathers & furs, cashmeres with long fitted thigh high boots to finish each look. The collection varied in color with light greys, blues, silver, nudes, creams and golds with more neutral heavier tones such as black and dark shades of grey; a beautiful and enticing masterpiece leaving us with a sweet taste in our mouths this FW16 collection was everything we could ever dream.
