With 2017 in full effect and award season underway many movies released the end of 2016 are making huge waves for the new year. La La Land released early December 2016 is a romantic musical directed by Damien Chazelle, the movie based around characters Mia & Sebastian shows a story of love and perseverance as we follow Mia an aspiring actress and Sebastian a jazz pianist on their journey. The pair form an odd relationship as their constant battle between their dreams and aspirations along with the harsh reality of life clash and become increasingly hard for Mia to endure, as after a failed one woman play she moves from Hollywood (The Land Of Dreams) back home with her parents in Nevada. After the pairs up and downs they meet again in a future life where both are successful and their hard work and dedication has paid off but soon realize their story may not end with both happily in love. The musical features Hollywood's most famous faces including Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, John Legend & Rosemarie DeWitt and has already created a huge buzz worldwide as well as raking in $65.1 million dollars thus far and counting. The movie looks to be a huge nominee during 2017's award season so be sure to check it out, a great watch.
