Proud Mary Official Trailer
The New Year will see a whole host of movies coming our way one of which being the all American action thriller "Proud Mary" which is set for release in early January. "Proud Mary" directed by Babak Najafi depicts the story of Mary who is a successful and very skillful hitwoman working in Boston for an organized crime family; Mary's life takes a complete turn after a professional hit takes an unexpected turn leaving a young boy orphaned, Mary is left battling between good and evil and as she is caught between the dangerous organized crime lifestyle and the law's of the police. The movie stars Taraji P. Henson, Danny Glover, Billy Brown, Margaret Avery and Xander Berkeley among many others; the trailer serves us with some high intense action scenes as we see Mary preparing herself for an all out blood bath, as she loads up her weapons and hits the road to fulfill her contractual obligations. This movie looks epic and it's always a huge plus to have a woman play the role of a kick ass bad ass hitwoman; a role such as this which is commonly played by men can sometimes be monotonous and its refreshing to see a different perspective on such a male driven role. This movie is not only going to be a good one for the men but women also and were sure theaters will be swarming with women lining up and joining forces to see this super bad ass action flick.
