The VH1 Hip Hop Honors took place on Monday night and this year was dedicated to the females in Hip Hop. The star studied night pay tribute to heavy weight music legends 'Queen Latifa, Lil Kim,  Salt n Pepa & Missy Elliot' as artist including 'Teyana Taylor, Trina, Rich Homie Quan, Lil Mama' and many more take to the stage paying homage to music royalty including performances from the legends themselves throughout the night. Hosted by 'E-V-E' who not only slayed with her ensambles on the night but was a worthy host for the female empowered music night of the year and did an impeccable job.

The Hip Hop Honors red carpet was the talk of the town on Monday night as the stars turned out in full force and turned the red carpet into a celebrity fashion show slaying for days on the red carpet. celebs 'Kelly Rowland, Ashanti, Keyshia Cole, Winnie Harlow, Jazmine Sullivan, Monica' stole the show on the red carpet serving us glam, sophistication and black goddess all the way.  Take a look at some of the other amazing trend from the VH1 Hip Hop Honors. 





























Hip Hop Honor Tributes









The Hip Hop Honors was a time to recognize the most influential female Hip Hop artists who paved the way for the generation standing before us today. Performances on the night came from Teyana Taylor, Lil Mama, Dj Loaf, Remy Ma, Monica, Tweet, Fantasia, Keke Palmer and much more who all delivered an epic performance showcasing not only their talents but their true love and admiration for the Hip Hop legends.

Lil Mama: Memes










Rapper 'Lil Mama' is back with a Hot new track 'Memes' taken from her latest EP 'Take Me Back'. 'Lil Mama' drew inspiration from the late great rapper 'Nutorious B.I.G' with images throughout the video and vocals of the rapper on the hook from the song "Kick In The Door" from the album "Life After Death", 'Mama' even dressed and posed like the late great rapper with a cane and boss suit sitting on the throne like true rap royalty. The video play's on 'Lil Mama's' Breakfast Club Interview with 'Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee & Dj Envy' where 'Mama' broke down about her mothers battle with cancer; The Brooklyn born rapper shows her crazy talented skills as she flows like a beast on this track, proving shes a force to be reckoned with. A clear old school rap vibe 'Lil Mama' takes it all the way back with no gimmicks and no pretense letting her voice and her raw Brooklyn style flow center stage in this amazing track.
