The Befta Awards 2016 is approaching and we need YOU to VOTE for our favorite model (Kiane Ashman-Swaby). Kiane has been modelling since the age of 13 where she walked in her first fashion show Mr & Mrs Runway; now 19 she has walked for various clothing brands and shows throughout the years and is a regular face on LFW runway. Kiane's is inspired by legendary supermodels Naomi Campbell & Tyra Banks, in her own words she quotes. ( Tyra Banks gave other models an amazing platform, with shows like Americas Next Top Model it showed how hard you have to work and the determination and drive you have to obtain to be successful; and Naomi Campbell is truly an icon becoming the first black model to be on the cover of french vogue, this opened up so many doors for other black woman in this industry such as myself; both true inspirations in my book and i respect them deeply.) Kiane has been a face of Ashley Lloyd Int for some years now and we are so pleased to see her nominated for the Best Female Model Award, she truly deserves it.

America's Next Top Model The End Of An Era

Its officially the end of an era with this being the last ever season of "Americas next top model" of which Supermodel Tyra Banks announced on Instagram recently. The ground breaking TV show began back in 2003 and has given us 22 amazing Cycles during its 12 year reign. "Americas next top model" has gone onto win "2 Teen Choice Awards" and a "Director Guild Of America Award" and also have 10 spin off's around the world including Australia, Britain, Poland, Germany, and Holland.  America's next top model has given us some amazing moments, beautiful faces, falls and not to mention heated discussions. 

"America's next top model" brought the heat in cycle 20 bringing in the boys to compete with the girls, this would change the dynamic of the show forever bringing various types of male and female models from all walks of life. Cycle 21 saw the first male winner Keith Carlos take the crown which was a first in the history of the show. "Americas next top model" has broken barriers not just within TVbut within the fashion industry on a whole introducing its first deaf contestant Nyle DiMarco; and its first contestant and winner with Vitiligo Chantelle Winnie. The final episode of "America's next top model" will air on December 4th. We shall truly miss you.

Supermodel Cara Delevingne made her first appearence on Jimmy Fallon's 'Tonight Show' this week.
Cara promoting her new movie 'Paper towns' was rocking a pair of Balmain striped, jewel encrusted trousers from their Fall2015 collection.

Cara teamed the trousers with a simple black top and an updo hairstyle.
We must say Cara you have done it again with this one, we love it.
