Today's flashback Friday goes to the uber talented and artistic 'Missy Misdemeanor Elliot'. 'Missy' took to the charts back in 1997 with her debut album "Supa Dupa Fly" and the addictive lead single from the album "The Rain" which certified 'Missy' a platinum debut album and was the first encounter the public had of 'Missy' being at the front line. 'Missy Elliot' has been known for her songwriting skills and her collaborative relationship with Timberland, producing some of the hottest tracks of all time. 'Missy' has written for the biggest stars including 'Aaliyah, SWV, 702, Total, Whitney Houston, Destiny's Child, Mel B, Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey', and many many more. Throughout 'Missy's' carrear she has gone onto win over 149 awards worldwide and over 289 nominations for various other awards making her one of the worlds biggest Hip Hop artists of all time.
