The fashion house laid the foundation with nothing but excellence during the fashion show which is to be expected from the great Dior. The shows visual concept provided us with a modern day skate park surrounded with hot red neon lighting, evoking a new wave of fashion the here and now Dior provided us with a grunge, punk chic new look and feel for the fashion house still keeping their iconic elements. Dior designer 'Kris Van Assche' conveyed his latest creation as "The idea of the hybrid is instinct" changing the face of fashion; a skater or child of the sixties who grew up to become a businessman still has traces of his former identity inside the collection provided every inch of this thesis and them some. Duffel coats, puffer jackets, parkas, hoodies, couture embroidery all played a vital part in this outstanding breathtaking collection, proving Dior's new wave of fashion is consciously about to take over.
