Fall Winter 2017/18
















The infamous Jeremy Scott is back with the latest Moschino Fall Winter 2017/2018 menswear collection. The collection oozed a revolutionary fashion war between the present and future with an Armageddon set design including distorted imagery on television sets, loose cables and wire's along with a digital countdown which lead to the models initial entrance to the runway.The premise for the collection gave a military uniform throughout with combat trousers, field jackets, bomber jackets, parachute skirts, along with additional accessories including combat green holdall bags, beret hats and harnesses. The colours went from a blast of spacey prints with silver and black undertones to a mixture of matrix inspired prints with red and emerald green flashes to a more earthy camouflage green. Each piece from the Moschino collection really identifies the unique quality designer Jeremy Scott possess, a comic feel to the collection with a touch of Star-ship Troopers Jeremy was able to really make this futuristic dream a contemporary & wearable piece of art. Utterly outstanding and a collection we personally cannot wait to get our hand on this season.

Menswear Fashion Week





Versace
Fall Winter 2017/18















Italian fashion house Versace is back with their magnetic and uber trendy fall winter collection. The collection oozez a modern day business man with a sportswear aesthetic, showcasing a strong and powerful presence the collection displayed boldness and a futuristic chi'c that Versace is known for. Donatella's use of the baroque motifs where evident as they featured in numerous jackets, blazers & jumpers serving an essence of the 80's -90's era of which Gianni Versace really utilized this artistic and very decorative flare. Trenchcoats, suits, biker jackets, slim fitted leather trousers were all displayed throughout the runway show along with the additional over-sized or puff jacket which really defined each look; the fabrics also complimented the collection utilizing really good quality leathers, suede's & plaids along with fur trimmings along some items complimenting the entity Versace stand for. The colours were kept very simple yet effective with a mixed palette of blacks, greys, reds and camel which not only kept the uniform consistent but allowed us as the viewer to really identify this flawless and ultra modern collection. Donatella's work always blows us away and this fall winter 2017/18 collection can only be described as a true masterpiece; a job well done Donatella.

Dsquared is back in full effect with their fall winter 17/18 collection combining both menswear and womenswear to create an epic and truly magnificent collection. Grunge chi'c or a modern day traveler set the tone for the fashion show releasing an abundance of over-sized coats, jackets jumpers, t -shirts and distinctive taste for combining soft and playful fabrics with hard structured layers creating the ultimate ensemble. Dsquared are all about pushing boundaries and not holding back and this collection depicts this with chunky metallic boots and crystal embellished beanie hats complimenting each garment as they cascaded down the runway. Furs, knit, leathers, and wool featured throughout with elements of plaid, cow prints and a varied floral decorative print bringing each look to life giving character and zoning in on the collections thesis. Dsquared are completely unapologetic with their fashion statements and are not afraid to take risks and set their own unique mark each season; an innovative and completely mind blowing collection to say the least and one that is not only wearable but completely effortless in its beauty.

Man Crush Monday

Our Man Crush Monday is the handsome and mysterious model 'David Gandy'. 'David's' career began back in 2001 after winning a television competition he caught the eye of fashion designers 'Dolce & Gabbana' becoming the face of the menswear brand featuring in numerous fashion shows and campaigns. Having become a successful model 'Gandy' began writing blogs for 'British Vogue' and the 'Telegraph Men'. 'David Gandy' is now considered an entrepreneur becoming a designer with his own range of underwear, swimwear and lounge wear with 'Marks & Spencer's' and a member of the 'British Fashion Council' board for London collections men's. His charitable work has been a focal point throughout his career making us all fall in love showing us hes not just a pretty face. A true gentleman and business man 'David's' career is on the rise and shows no signs of slowing down, looks like a great 2016 for Mr Gandy.

Paris Collections Men



Dior Homme Fall Winter 2016 2017







Paris welcomed Dior with open arms during Paris collections men over the last few days. The fashion house laid the foundation with nothing but excellence during the fashion show which is to be expected from the great Dior. The shows visual concept provided us with a modern day skate park surrounded with hot red neon lighting, evoking a new wave of fashion the here and now Dior provided us with a grunge, punk chic new look and feel for the fashion house still keeping their iconic elements. Dior designer 'Kris Van Assche' conveyed his latest creation as "The idea of the hybrid is instinct" changing the face of fashion; a skater or child of the sixties who grew up to become a businessman still has traces of his former identity inside the collection provided every inch of this thesis and them some. Duffel coats, puffer jackets, parkas, hoodies, couture embroidery all played a vital part in this outstanding breathtaking collection, proving Dior's new wave of fashion is consciously about to take over.

Kenzo Fall Winter 2016 2017 Show








Kenzo took their FW16 collection straight to the runways in Paris during Menswear collections. The fashion due created a memorizing and timeless collection, taking advantage of the Japanese culture their food and architecture and most importantly their ability to live for the future whilst respecting their past. The collection featured whites, baby blue, and reds with laquered croc being a key feature throughout. jackets, coats, mac's suits and printed shirts were all part of this amazing experience Kenzo provided. Music also played a huge part in the runway extravaganza used a cover of 'Janet Jacksons' Rythem Nation to depicts their story as their adaption on a rhythm nation is born.

Milan Collections Mens


Philipp Plein Fall Winter 2016 2017 









Milan saw a fashion show like no other from designer 'Philipp Plein' with his enticing FW16 collection. The epic show began with a royal performance from the royal orchestra which lead to the introduction of rapper mogul 'Lil Wayne' before a group of skate borders and bikers in light up jackets stormed the show giving us an extra phenomenal introduction to the 'Philipp Plein' collection. The uber virtual, futuristic chi'c collection took reference from superheros Batman, Superman & Captain America to create distinctive motifs on jackets, blazers, jumpers and rucksacks. Leather, fur and heavy fabrics layed the foundation for the heroic collection bringing a street element to the runway. 'Philipp Plein' outdid himself with this collection creating a wearable and iconic new wave of fashion mixing leather and prints along with heroic themes portrayed throughout the collection.

Dsquared Fall Winter 2016 2017







'Dsquared' showed off and showed out with their FW16 collection during Milan Collections Menswear. The fashion show began with a junglelistic vibe, bamboo shoots with leafy screens created a very oriental feel to the show before the designs were strutted across the runway. Big trousers, kilts, oversized jackets along with blazers were all in addition to the collection. blacks, denim played a big part throughout the collection; keeping with the theme, elements of Japanese manga, florals and bright pops of colour made this diverse, bold and sleek collection magnetic and eye catching to watch down the runway.

London Collections Men

Burberry Fall Winter 2016/2017 fashion show




Burberry took over London this week with their epic fashion show held in the heart of the city. The collection stayed true to the trademark of the exquisite fashion house seeing the return of the trench coat and macintosh. Burberry creative director Christopher Bailey also added a new look for the fashion house a zip-up tracksuit top which was featured with the famous macintosh, the show also payed tribute to David Bowie as his tragic death was unveiled earlier this week. With live music from Benjamin Clementine the air was set in mystery and complete and utter bliss surrounding the catwalk.

London Collections Men AW16



Alexander McQueen 







The power fashion house Alexander McQueen took us on an adventure like no other this season with their AW16 collection. Designer 'Sarah Burton' devoted the show to 'Charles Darwin' stating she was "going back to the beginning, with the origin of the spectacularly-attired man". 'Sarah' drew inspiration from the Victorian era using trench-coats, suits and military coats to display her depiction of this; as well as the decorative motif butterfly used throughout the collection bringing a soft undertone to the architectural designs. The location set in London's 'Whitehall', was also able to give a old British scene enabling the collection to follow through the story telling journey; complete with classical music and an air of fog for drama.

LCM AW16




Tomorrow the world of fashion will take over London with London's Men's Collection; The biggest designers from around the world will showcase their incredible pieces down the runways of London town. LCM will run throughout the next couple of days 8/01/2016 - 11/01/2016 and were sure it will be a fashion event like no other.
