Mulberry Fall Winter 2016 2017
Mulberry showed up and showed out during London Fashion Weeks FW16 collections. The first collection from new creative director Johnny Coca Mulberry drew inspiration from the English manor house of the Georgian era. The collection gave a masculine feel yet with soft feminine undertones displaying military coats, pleated skirts and tops, Georgian inspired shirts with neckline ruffles and bomber jackets with floral prints. The dark color pallet set for a medieval styled thesis consisted of browns, blacks, red, aubergine and forest greens with sudden pops of whites, pink and cerulean. A mirrored runway projecting this eye catching collection lay as the backdrop displaying what can only be described as simply genius, a well executed and thought out FW collection and a certified favorite during LFW.
