Alexander McQueen Fall Winter 2016/2017










The highly anticipated Alexander McQueeen blew everyone out of the water this week during London Fashion Week's Fall Winter Collections. The collection displayed what could only be classed as a dream taking the most feminine elements and placing them center stage with an abundance of detailing and complete craftsmanship.  Butterfly, eyes, unicorn, and clock motifs decorated the delicately though out collection embarking on almost an Alice In Wonderland journey. Blacks, subtle pinks, golds and creams were the focal in terms of color with an array of coats, ruffled dresses, suits, slim fitted trousers and a few beautiful gowns all of which floated along the runway in what seemed to be a perfect fantasy. Alexander McQueen never ceases to amaze us every year with such amazing high quality designs and what can only be described and artwork among the greats, an amazing job Sarah Burton.

London Fashion Week




Burberry Fall Winter 2016/2017









The show we have all be waiting for, Burberry stormed the runway during London Fashion Week with their flawless FW16 collection. Accompanied with music from 'Jake Bugg' the collection featured a multitude of neutral tones set for the season; sparkles, tartan print, and decorative flower motif and print layed for the foundation of this modern day bohemian felt collection. Pleated dresses, military inspired coats, flared trousers and shirts were all part of the collection making this 70's inspired collection wearable and exude complete and utter bohemian chi'c. A twist on a classic look this FW16 Burberry collection by creative director 'Christopher Bailey' gives us everything we could have imagined from Burberry leaving a sweet and distinct taste of high end glamour in out mouths.

Mulberry Fall Winter 2016 2017 








Mulberry showed up and showed out during London Fashion Weeks FW16 collections. The first collection from new creative director Johnny Coca Mulberry drew inspiration from the English manor house of the Georgian era. The collection gave a masculine feel yet with soft feminine undertones displaying military coats, pleated skirts and tops, Georgian inspired shirts with neckline ruffles and bomber jackets with floral prints. The dark color pallet set for a medieval styled thesis consisted of browns, blacks, red, aubergine and forest greens with sudden pops of whites, pink and cerulean. A mirrored runway projecting this eye catching collection lay as the backdrop displaying what can only be described as simply genius, a well executed and thought out FW collection and a certified favorite during LFW.

Topshop Unique Fall Winter 2016/2017








Topshop Unique took to the LFW runway showcasing their epic FW16 collection. The collection gave us an abundance of varied looks including sporty, club attire and professional. Fur's, leathers, lace and chiffon all took to center stage with a mix of dark earthy tones with bold vibrant pops of color. Bold, brave and unafraid Topshop never disappoint each season with their mix of high street and runway pieces. Mixing textures and colours the Topshop collection to say the least depicts the true essence of what a girls wardrobe should be made up of, with ever changing looks depicting different emotions throughout a woman's fashionable journey.
