The 89th Academy Awards Is Coming

The Oscars take place on Sunday night celebrating the best movie's and film makers of 2016. The show will be coming live on ABC from the Dolby Theater Hollywood California and will be hosted by none other than Jimmy Kimmel. There are some huge blockbuster nominees from the likes of movies such as Moonlight, La La Land, Hacksaw Ridge, Hidden Figures, Fences and an abundance of others along with the most anticipated gongs on the night Best Actor/Best Actress. This is one Award ceremony you will not want to miss out on.

The biggest Night in film and television took place last night in the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills California. The 2017 Golden Globe Awards is one of the most prestigious nights in Hollywood and this year was a huge night for not only the winners but all the nominees; The red carpet saw Hollywood's finest rock up and show out in some of fashions biggest designers worldwide. The Golden Globe red carpet saw actors including Ruth Negga, Emily Ratajkowski, Chrissy Teigen, Reese Witherspoon, Viola Davis, Naomi Campbell, Justin Timberlake, Sophie Turner, and many more literally dazzle as they were snapped on the carpet.

Hacksaw Ridge Official Trailer

This fall will see an american war film directed by 'Mel Gibson' and based on a true story, the film depicts the life of US army medic 'Desmond T.Doss' who saved the life of over 75 comrades while under enemy fire during the battle of Okinawa in World War II. The movie is set for release in November and display's courage, hope, bravery and love throughout as one of Americas greatest hero's story is told to us for the first time. The film stars 'Andrew Garfield, Vince Vaughn, Teresa Palmer, Luke Bracey & Sam Worthington' and looks like it will be a big nominee during award season 2017; yet another great story told and directed by 'Mel Gibson' and one that is needed during this current time and state in the world today.
