Burberry Fall Winter 2017/2018

Burberry Fall Winter 2017/2018 By FF Channel

Burberry shut down London Fashion Week with an epic and flawless collection that drew inspiration from an iconic period in modern art. The collection saw an array of sculpted looks cascade down the runway with cable knit jumpers, cotton shits and shirt dresses, tailored jackets, over exaggerated sleeves and tailored trousers. The collection saw a multitude of fabrics used to convey this extraordinary experience including feathers, wool, fur, beaded embellishments and many more which heightened the intensity of the artistry used throughout. The runway was not only home for the Christopher Bailey masterpiece but also saw infamous sculptures from British artist Henry Moore which was a main inspiration behind the fall winter collection. Christopher Bailey outdone himself this time with a collection that will not only be considered as a fashion week favorite but also as a modern work of art; we can see the likes of celebs such as Sia & Lady Gaga evoking many pieces from this timeless masterpiece over the coming year, so be sure to keep an eye out.

Versus Fall Winter 2017/2018

Versus Fall Winter 2017/2018 By FF Channel

Versus Versace stormed the runway during London Fashion Week and made a rock n roll impact all over the streets of London. The fashion show opened up with an abundance of flashing lights as if The Beatles were about to take the stage completely in reminiscence of a rock concert before the long legs of model Gigi Hadid took to the catwalk, opening the show in a black turtle neck mini-dress with balloon sleeve. The collection saw an array of skinny jeans with detailed zips, mini skirts and dresses/skirts with high side splits, over-sized coats and crop tops, jumpers and jackets. The colour palette went from a black base to a variation of colour's including reds, blues and pink with the occasional decorative versus print depicted on some pieces. The overall feel of the collection was serving a modern day punk rocker vibe with futuristic undertones, "imagine if you were on a rock n roll space voyage throughout the galaxy this collection would be the perfect fit". A wearable and current collection that talks to all ages and one we can see making huge strides throughout the year especially among some of our favorite celebrity faces.
