Bajan icon Rihanna set it off in Paris with her fall winter collection during Paris Fashion Week and it was an assured learning lesson of fashion. The set of the Fenty X by Puma runway show took elements from our childhood memories at school with lockers, study tables and a library backdrop playing into the thesis behind the collection. The collection featured an array of bright bold colours including orange, yellow's and green against contrasting blacks, blues and whites which added to the wow factor; embroidered font's and logos applied to t-shirts jumpers and shirts painting a realistic portrait to the academic collection especially with 1988 prints the date of Rihanna's birth. The collection depicted a boystrous feel throughout with over-sized floor length coats and jumpers, with feminine aesthetics such as shorts, skirts, and body suits to add to the trendy and influential collection. Thigh high boots accompanied the ensembles with baseball hats and snapbacks to give that extra edge; overall the collection was a complete breath of fresh air with a unique flare of a sporty street vibe an epic show and an uber amazing collection to end PFW.

Moschino Fall Winter 2017/2018 By FF Channel

Milan embraced Jeremy Scott for his captivating and always well executed fall winter collection. The collection "Materials Girls" saw a an almost unfinished cirque du soleil experience with the backdrop and the runway made entirely out of cardboard and brown tape. Kendall Jenner opened up the show wearing a cardboard effect mini skirt and jacket with a tote bag and cardboard hat as accessories playing on the thesis of the collection and depicting the epic journey we are about to be taken on. The collection served us with a time capsule of fashionable era's leading off with a take on a suffragette feel with light shades of brown throughout and a multitude of the infamous printed logo throughout. The collection takes us on a journey taking elements from the early 19th century, 1940, 60's 80's and 90's with light touches of the future sparked through each piece.
Jeremy Scott is known for his bold, lavish and unapologetic deigns and prints and he sure did stick to his strengths with this masterpiece; the collection was simply a dream like fantasy with an abundance of skirts, dresses, jackets, coats, and trousers displayed. unlike any fall winter collection the colours were bright bold and eye catching among the well designed structures of clothing, with a variation of prints and embellishments Jeremy proved just why he is the reigning King of fashion. At one point of the show model Anna cleveland proved that almost anything can be worn as she tugs and pulls at the curtain backdrop finally revealing its purpose as her floor length gown including tassel's as the collection title "Materials Girls" proves its meaning. A solidified collection proving that just about anything can be worn and made into a fashion accessory or statement.

New York welcomed the chic and ultra trendy fall winter Marc Jacobs fashion show as the collection was brought to the streets serving us sex and the city tease. The models cascaded down the runway in win a abandoned building before hitting the streets to display the funky 90's hip hop thesis. Neutral tones including browns, creams and hints of gold, black, blue and burgundy which were displayed throughout each piece distinctively and effectively leaving a satisfying and fulfilled taste in our mouths.
