Couture Fashion week is taking over Paris this week with the most exquisite gowns & dresses hand made by the best designers. The event is a celebrity heaven with all the big names coming out to watch in amazement whilst the shows take place. Jean Paul Gaultier Haute Couture Fall 2015 - 2015

Jean Paul Gaultier brought Paris to their feet standing at attention during Haute Couture Fashion week. The designer drew inspiration from Breton using heavy weight fabrics against stripes and distinctive shapes; Gaultier really showed Paris Haute Couture is his arena and he is here to stay, especially since taking a break from Ready-To-Wear in 2014.

The Breton used quite heavily in Jean Paul Gaultier's work especially in his 1993 male perfume 'le male'  has become on of his most recognized trademark pieces. It is also said Gaultier requires his press team to wear a version of the design during his runway shows.

Elie Saab Haute Couture Fall 2015 - 2016

Elie Saab brought Paris a fairy tale dream, as their fall 15/16 collection graced the runway. Gold leaf, detailed embroidery and sparkle were the main attraction of their ethereal goddess theme 

 as the models floated enchantingly on the catwalk. Elie never cease to amaze us with such poetic story telling through their garments and the fall 2015 2016 was no disappointment.

Chanel Haute Couture Fashion Week Fall 2015/2016

Paris opened its arms and fully embraced the Chanel Haute Couture show which the spectacular 'Karl Largerfeld' put together. The show hosted a vast array of  celebrity's whom also were features within the show such as 'Kristen Stewart, Julianne Moore, Lily-Rose Depp, Lily Collins, Rita Ora, Lara Stone and Jemima Kirke'.

The Chanel show held in Paris Grand Palais was based around a casino accompanied by makeshift casino tabels and gambling machines. 'Lagerfeld' demonstrated high-tech couture featuring Chanel's famous famed skirt-suit jacket.'Largerfeld's' jackets wear seamless and made using computer software; 'Karl' stated "Computers are going to enter more and more in the evolution and techniques of fashion  you cannot resist. On the contrary, if it exists in its time couture will live on,".

It was the star of the show however how stole the spotlight in Paris, 'Kendall Jenner' sported a short bob wig in a bridal-inspired two-piece suit, with a long cape and trademark Chanel camellia brooch to finish off the androgynous feel for the collection.
