This fall get ready for the superhero movie of the century, 'Max Steel' hits our screens in October and we have to say judging from the trailer this could be a new wave of superhero movies that the new generation could enjoy. Taken from the hit TV series 'Max Steel' stars 'Ben Winchell, Andy Garcia, Maria Bello & Ana Villafane' depicting the story of teenager 'Max McGrath' and his alien companion steel harnessing their powers to transform into the superhero 'Max Steel', both use their newly found powers to fight against the evil forces that threaten the world unveiling secrets that could effect their lives forever. The movie seems like a good watch pushing us forward in terms of superhero movies and one all ages can enjoy.

Mr. Church - Official Trailer

'Mr. Church' is a drama film based on the life of 'Susan McMartin' which is set for release later this month. The movie see's  a new neighbour 'Mr. Church' move into 'Charlotte's' home with her single mother where she resides. 'Charlotte' is apprehensive about 'Mr. Church' however later learns he is living with her and her mother due to her mothers long term illness. The film goes though the years and the changes 'Charlotte' faces in her life. 'Charlotte' decides to write a book after the death of 'Mr. Church' calling the book "Cook" in remembrance of the first time she met him cooking food in her home.   The film stars 'Eddie Murphy, Britt Robertson, Lucy Fry, Xavier Samuel' and looks like a touching memorable movie the whole family can enjoy; just remember to bring your tissues along with you during this emotional movie.

This summer the biographical sports film we have all been waiting for will be hitting the big screen this year. Spaceman directed by 'Brett Rapkin' is about the life of Baseball pitcher 'Bill Lee' and his extraordinary rise to fame throughout his career. The movie stars 'Josh Duhamel, Ernie Hudson, Sterling K. Brown & W.Earl Brown' and is set for release in August of this year and judging from the trailer it looks like a great watch.

This summer 'Ben Affleck' stars in the crime drama movie "The Accountant". The film depicts the story of "Christian Wolff" a freelance accountant and mathematical genius who provides his services for criminal organisations. Christian taken on a legitimate role as a client for a robotics company but as he does so he finds out the hidden truth about a major discrepancy involving millions in dollars and hundreds of bodies. Other actors staring in the movie include 'J.K. Simmons, Anna Kendrick, John Lithgow' and many more. "The Accountant" is Set for release in the fall of 2016 this high action mind boggling movie will have all on the edge of their seats as they work out the twists and plots throughout; predicted a great watch for the closing of 2016.

The movie provides us with straight up action from the get go leaving is in suspense throughout the entire movie. 'Staring Bruce Willis, Christopher Meloni, Adrian Grenier, Dave Bautista & Lydia Hull' 'Marauders' will have you on the edge of your seats; a great watch especially for the boys.

The movie of the year all football fans have been waiting for, 'Pel'e' Birth Of A Legend depicts the life of football icon 'Pele' and his journey and challenges faced in becoming the worlds most famous sports star of our time, leading Brazil into the world cup in 1958.  The film sees actors 'Kevin de Paula, Seu Jorge, Rodrigo Santoro, Diego Boneta & Vincent D'onofrio' step onto the pitch and into the worlds biggest sports event in the world. Released on May 5th 'Pel'e' is a great adventure for the summer revealing a true story of honor, family, dedication and hope a great watch for the summer and a great untold story.

The Darkness

This summer get ready for a terrifying family vacation that will make you never want to leave home again. "The Darkness" is based around the 'Taylor' family who decide to take a trip to the Grand Canyon. Once the family return to their home in Los Angeles strange events start to occur along with their youngest Son 'Michael's' demonic and very unusual behavior. The parents learn that Michael took some mysterious stones he found back at the Grand Canyon but that wasn't the only thing 'Michael' brought back home as the family find themselves in a supernatural war praying on their biggest fears. The movie stars 'Kevin Bacon, Radha Mitchell, David Mazouz, Lucy Fry & Jennifer Morrison' this twisted horror will have you on the edge of your seats leaving your heart beating and your palms sweaty and your brain racing; not a movie for the family but a great watch during the summer none the less.

#FBF Finding Nemo

Today our Flashback Friday is for the underwater journey that is "Finding Nemo". The movie hit our screens in 2003 staring 'Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould & Willem Dafo'; the movie conveys the story of 'Marlin and Dory' two fish on a journey to find 'Dory's' abducted son 'Nemo' all the way to Sydney Australia encountering some friends and some very dangerous teeth along the way. The movie grossed $936 million on its initial release and became the highest grossing movie of 2003 as well as winning an 'Academy Award' for the "Best Animated Feature".  "Finding Nemo" has become a kids favorite over the years with hundreds of merchandise sold worldwide and in 2008 the 'American Film Institute' named it the 10th greatest animated film ever made as part of their 10 top 10 lists. The Sequel to the hit animated movie "Finding Dory" is set for release this summer and if "Finding Nemo" is anything to go by "Finding Dory" will be a box office smash.

Our Flashback Friday is for the 1980's classic action film "Scarface" staring 'Al Pachino, Michelle Pfeiffer, Steven Bauer, Robert Loggia and Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio'. The movie depicts the story of 'Tony Montana' a Cuban refugee arriving to miami during the disco era, he climbs the power ladder becoming one of the most powerful drug lords around crushing anything that stands in his way. The movie grossed over $44 million on its initial release however critics at the time were not so keen on the amount of violence and drug use the film contained. "Scarface" has become one of the most recognized mob film in the world and is seen by many as one of the best mob movies ever made; with slogans such as Say hello to my little friend still being referenced today.

"If there's something strange in your neighborhood, who you gonna call" ??? Today our Flash Back Friday is for the classic childhood movie franchise 'Ghostbusters'. Our first encounter with the 'Ghostbusters' was back in 1984 when the first installment of the movie franchise hit our big screens thanks to Columbia Pictures, the movie was a huge success worldwide and opened up a world of material taken from the film including; comic books, toys, video games, television series and a theme park. The second movie released in 1989 titled "Ghostbusters II" was a huge success also grossing over $200 Million and becoming the eighth highest grossing movie of 1989.Now with a third edition coming to us in 2016 'Ghostbusters' are making a comeback after 17 years 'Ghostbusters' are returning to save the city of New York and dominate the big screen.

Remember the classic flick "She's All That" ???, well its our Throwback Thursday this week. The 1999 teenage rom-com was about a high school stud Zach whos popularity is in jeopardy when his long term girlfriend Taylor leaves him for a reality star Brock Hudson. being taunted by his piers Zach is dared by his friend to turn a high school geek into a beauty queen. The move stars 'Freddie Prinze Jr, Rachel Leigh Cook, Matthew Lillard, Jodi Lyn O'Keffe, Usher, Lil Kim Garbrielle Union' and many more. The soundtrack to the movie was also a big hit  "Kiss Me" by 'Sixpence None The Richer' was chanted worldwide and is still today one of the top favorite Love songs of all time. "She's All That" is still one of the most loved and critically acclaimed movies of the 90's with some of the most memorable scenes in move history which has also been adapted in various other comedy's.

Today our Flashback Friday is for the classic 1942 movie close to everyone's hearts 'Casablanca'. The romantic drama staring 'Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman & Paul Henreid' was based on the stage play "Everybody Comes To Rick's" produced by 'Murry Burnett and Joan Alison'. Set in World War II the film depicts the life of an American expatriate who has to make a tricky choice between his love for a beautiful woman or helping her Czech Resistance leader husband escape the Vichy-controlled city of 'Casablanca' to continue his fight against the Nazis. 'Casablanca' has gone onto become one of the most iconic films in movie history making millions throughout the years also winning numerous awards including Best Picture, Director and Adapted Screenplay; a certified watch with the girl's or your boyfriend (if he doesn't mind romantic flicks) so get the popcorn ready #Movienight.
