Christmas day will see the amazing Denzel Washington and Viola Davis on the big screen in the movie Fences set in the 1950's. The movie's premise is based around a former professional baseball player who's son wants to follow in his fathers footsteps of playing professionally; things take a turn for the worst when the family not only have to deal with an affair that will change everyone lives forever but a father who tries to avert his son's dreams. The trailer of the movie is absolutely gripping and completely draws us in, a real family movie to ring everyone closer together over the holiday's, with an outstanding cast. The movie is directed by Mr Denzel Washington himself and written by August Wilson in 1983 as a play of the same name as the film. A great watch over the holidays and don't forget a pack of tissues for those teary eyes, movie is set for release on the 25th December.

Passengers - Official Trailer

This Christmas a romantic sci-fi thriller will be coming to a cinema near you, Passengers directed by Morten Tyldum and staring Jennifer Lawrence & Chris Pratt is set for release December 21st 2016. The premise of the movie takes place aboard the Starship Avalon on a voyage to a cosmic planet Homestead II; Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) & Jim's (Chris Pratt) sleep chambers which lay aboard the Avalon  malfunction and open 90 years into the 120 year voyage. The two hybrid species find themselves looking for a way out of the Starship stumbling across some unexpected problems on their way. The trailer for the movie is impeccable with not only amazing CGI effects, an out of this world set including the Avalon interior but a great well written and developed story everyone can enjoy; this is a great watch over the Christmas period and one all ages can come together and enjoy during the seasonal holidays.

This winter Santa is coming to town and hes bringing a whole lot of trouble; staring 'Billy Bob Thornton, Kathy Bates, Tony Cox, Christina Hendricks, Brett Kelly' along with a few more household names. The movie is based around the seasonal holiday of Christmas where all is jolly and peace is brought among the world that is until a particular santa in the heart of Chicago decides to steal all the proceeds from a charity with a helping hand from his mother and his not so friendly sidekick. The comical movie hits our screens in November and comes just in time for the seasonal holidays to spread laughter and tears throughout the end of the year, we hope its as good as the first #fingerscrossed.

Today our Flashback Friday is one of the biggest movies of all time 'Grease'. The 1978 musical romantic classic stared 'Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta' and its success it still apparent today. 'Grease' was a successful box office smash grossing over $387,513,770 worldwide as well as the soundtrack to the movie which was the best selling album of the year ending 1978. The movie was an adaptation of the 1971 musical written by 'Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey' with additional music by 'John Farrar'; the 'Grease' movement took over the world with the movie having several re-releases a sequel 'Grease 2' released 1982 and the musical still going strong worldwide making 'Grease' one of the worlds biggest and most recognized musicals ever.
